    The 15th day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar is the Buddhist Bon Festival, also known as the Zhongyuan Festival. It is the day of Buddha's joy and also the day of almsgiving. The Yulan basin Dharma meeting held in the ten thousand Buddha garden aims to alleviate six hardships, thank parents for their kindness, send away disasters and diseases, and pray for good luck and peace.     The Buddhist Bon festival originated from the story of "Mu Lian saves the mother", which comes from the Tripitaka (Buddhist theory introduced from India). It is said that among the disciples of the Buddha, mu Qianlian, the most powerful one, missed his dead mother. He used his magic power to see that his mother fell into the evil ghost path after death because of her greed for karma in her life, and lived a life of insufficient food. Mu Qianlian then turned the food into food with his divine power and gave it to his mother, but his mother didn't change her greed. Seeing the food coming, she was deeply afraid of other evil spirits rushing to eat. The greed turned the food into charcoal when it reached her mouth, and she couldn't swallow it. Although mu Qianlian has magical powers, as a son of man, he can't save his mother. He is in great pain. Please ask the Buddha what to do. The Buddha said: July 15 is the last day of summer's peaceful residence and practice, full of Dharma and joy. On this day, punluo Baiwei is dedicated to monks, and his merits and virtues are boundless. With this compassion, he can save his dead mother. Mu Lian obeyed the Buddha's will, and on July 15, she used a Yulan basin to hold a treasure fruit vegetarian room to worship her mother. Her mother finally got food
    Every year on the 15th day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar, the ten thousand Buddha garden will hold a grand Yulan basin meeting to pray for the transcendence of the Dharma, so as to transcend the Western Pure Land for all the dead in the ten directions, and achieve the auspiciousness, harmony and peace of all sentient beings in the ten directions.
